Refund policy
RETURN, EXCHANGE & ORDER POLICY
1. No Refund Policy
All orders placed with Varun Bahl are final once the payment is done.
As each garment is handcrafted and often made-to-order, no refunds will be issued once an order is confirmed and payment has been received.
2. Exchange Policy
Exchanges will only be considered under the following circumstances:
An incorrect product has been delivered.
A manufacturing defect is identified upon receipt.
Any exchange request must be raised within 24 hours of delivery by emailing customer care along with:
Order number
Unboxing video
Clear images of the issue
Requests received after 24 hours may not be entertained.
3. No Exchange for the Following
The following are not eligible for exchange or return:
Change of mind
Colour variation due to screen/device settings
Minor irregularities in hand embroidery, hand weaving, printing, dyeing, or handcrafted detailing
Incorrect measurements provided by the client
Urgent delivery requirements communicated after order confirmation
Customised, altered, or made-to-measure orders
4. Order Confirmation & Client Approval
Clients are responsible for reviewing and confirming all order details before payment, including:
Style and design selected
Fabric, colour, and embroidery
Measurements and specifications
Delivery timelines
Once approved, no cancellations or modifications will be accepted.
5. Production & Modification Policy
No changes, additions, or deviations will be accommodated after production has commenced unless:
Approved in writing by Varun Bahl
Operationally feasible
Consistent with brand standards
Additional charges may apply for approved modifications.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Estimated delivery timelines are shared at the time of purchase.
While every effort is made to meet committed timelines, delays arising from:
Courier partners
Customs clearance
Force majeure events
Unforeseen production circumstances
shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
7. International Orders
For international shipments:
Duties, taxes, and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Varun Bahl shall not be liable for delays caused by customs authorities.
International orders are non-refundable and non-returnable.
8. Written Commitments Only
Only commitments documented and approved in writing by an authorised Varun Bahl representative shall be considered valid.
Verbal assurances, informal discussions, assumptions, or implied promises shall not be binding on the brand.
9. Quality Disclaimer
All Varun Bahl creations are handcrafted. Slight variations in embroidery, colour, texture, and finish are inherent characteristics of artisanal craftsmanship and should not be considered defects.
